🍺 How to Play Pub Golf
The Basics
Pub Golf is a drinking game where you visit multiple pubs (holes) and try to finish your drinks in as few sips as possible. Just like real golf, the lowest score wins!
Each pub is a "hole" and each drink is your "shot". Count your sips carefully!
Rules
- Par: Each hole has a "par" (target number of sips). Try to match or beat it!
- Scoring: Count every sip. The fewer sips, the better your score.
- Penalties: Spilling, not finishing, or breaking house rules = penalty strokes
- Keep Moving: Don't spend too long at one pub - stick to the schedule
- Stay Safe: Drink responsibly, stay with your group, and know your limits
- Have Fun: It's a social game - enjoy the journey, not just the competition!
Optional Rules
- Dress Code: Golf attire encouraged (polos, visors, etc.)
- Handicaps: Give weaker drinkers a head start
- 19th Hole: Bonus pub at the end for the winners
- Hole-in-One: Finish a drink in one gulp = automatic par
